Here is an awesome new desk. It is called Milk. It matches well with all of your current apple products. It kinda reminds me of an iMac laying all the way back. Im not sure of the price yet but it rocks. This would contribute to some inspiring workspaces. Especially if you use the provided think (fish) tank. Check out the milk website at http://milk.dk/

Music Department Banner Shoot Part 2

Here is part 2 of the banner shoots for the music dept. There are a couple more parts to come.

Lighting setup was one AB B800 in octabox to camera right and B800 with 20 degree grid to camera left behind subject.

I just stumbled onto photographer Ram Martinez. He has some amazing images where he combines photography and graphic design for some great compositions.

Chase Jarvis Videos

Here is my favorite video of a Chase Jarvis shoot. He is such an inspiring photographer. He encourages you to make time to shoot things that you want to shoot. That is what he did here in this video. All self funded. It’s amazing. You can see all of his other videos on You Tube or
his blog.

UCDA Insight Workshop

Here is a sideshow of my final images from the 2007 UCDA Insight workshop in Savannah,GA. It was a great experience to go around such a beautiful city and take photos. The assignments were typography in the landscape, space(either positive, negative, or the space around things), wabi sabi, and our choice, in which I did light studies. Enjoy the images.

Music Department Banner Shoot

Here is one of many photos to come for the Music department here at Taylor. They are going to be used as pull-up banners for concerts and such.

The lighting setup was one AB B800 to camera left in an octabox and one AB B400 with 20 degree grid back and to the right.

Fall Magazine 07

Here is the cover of the 2007 Taylor magazine. The theme was relentless discovery. I went with the idea of a broken light bulb. I was referencing the quote of how many times Thomas Edison failed at making the longer lasting bulb.

Lighting setup was one Alien Bee B800 with large softbox on a boom arm overhead.

New University Billboard

Here is the newest billboard for our university. I did the photography and design work on this piece. We focused on our #1 college ranking and the science program. This is the final of about 17 different versions.

The lighting setup was just one Alien Bee B800 up and to the right of the subject with a 20 degree grid on it. I use a Nikon D2X currently but am switching to Canon when the 1Ds MarkIII delivers. All lights are fired with Pocket Wizards.
